During my three decades in the industry, I’ve supported healthcare organizations through a wide range of issues and crises. I bring a unique understanding of healthcare operations and the factors driving quality, access and costs. 

I’ve provided strategic counsel to more than 25 hospitals, health systems and other providers, including multi-specialty clinics, rural hospitals, critical access hospitals, regional health systems, and leading academic medical centers.

My agency experience includes leadership roles in the healthcare practices for Ketchum, a global public relations firm, Lovell Communications, a national boutique healthcare agency, and Trone, a North Carolina marketing and branding firm. 

I served in leadership positions in corporate communications and public policy for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina and UnitedHealth Group. I also provided strategic communications counsel to other regional Blue Cross and Blue Shield plans and provider-owned health plans.
